§ FAQ

Everything applicants & families ask.

01Is the BBA delivered through GAPA recognised by the University of Mumbai?
Yes. GAPA is the academic programme partner — the degree itself is awarded by the University of Mumbai through our affiliated host colleges. Every door across both tracks — BBA and B.Com in Business Administration (specialising in Professional Accountancy or FinTech), the B.Sc in FinTech, and the two one-year Diplomas — runs at University of Mumbai-affiliated partner colleges and follows the NEP 2020 framework. The two BBA doors are additionally AICTE-approved.
02Can I pursue CA / ACCA / CFA while studying at GAPA?
That is the point of the programme. Each semester's modules are mapped paper-by-paper to CA, ACCA and CFA, so the classroom revision doubles as professional exam preparation. Most BBA students sit their first credential paper by Semester 4.
03Where are GAPA's campuses?
GAPA runs at four Mumbai partner colleges: MKES Khandwala (Malad), Laxmichand Golwala (Ghatkopar), Thakur College of Science & Commerce (Kandivali East, NAAC A+ · Autonomous) and Thakur Institute of Management Studies & Research (Kandivali East, AICTE). You choose your home campus at admission.
04What are the eligibility criteria?
BBA: 10+2 in any stream with ≥50% (Maths or Accountancy preferred). B.Com in Buss. Admn.: 10+2 with ≥45%. Diploma: 10+2 in any stream. International students follow the same academic bar plus an English proficiency check.
05What are the fees?
Tuition is set per intake cycle. The 2026–27 fee schedule is published with the prospectus — request the PDF from /admissions/brochure or speak to an admissions counsellor.
06Does GAPA help with placements?
Yes. The placement office runs a campus recruitment cycle every year for Sem 6 (B.Com), Sem 6 (BBA) and Sem 8 (final-year) students, covering Big 4 audit, mid-tier accountancy, equity research desks, banking and FinTech.
07What does a CA-aspirant gain over going directly to a coaching institute?
A recognised degree, four years of structured peer cohort, faculty who are practising CAs and analysts, and the safety net of an employable B.Com / BBA if the CA timeline takes longer than planned.
08Is hostel accommodation available?
All four campuses are currently day-scholar. The admissions office maintains a list of vetted PG accommodations within 2 km of each campus, with the densest options around the Thakur Educational Campus in Kandivali East.
